Hi Randy, really glad you like this little list. Your column is always one of the first things I read when PT drops through the letterbox.
You missed this new one from Reaper

Cheers,
Francisco
Thanks. I’ll add it forthwith.

Cheers, is it just me or is the Reaper site very, very slow today?
Nope it’s really slow, and I have 1024/300 broadband.
Francisco
Wow!
I found your site while searching google for prehistoric huntin parties. I am most impressed and plan to be a visitor/customer ofen. The image of a hunting party is to be used as a dook cover now in progress. Your site has opened a whole arena of potential figures. Thank you.
Herb
i am looking for caveman figures to go with my scale model toy dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. ill get them from you if i can get the info i need. thank you. you can also mail the info to me at p.o.box 46523 newark ohio 43058
Hi Steven,
I’m afraid that I can’t help you as I’m not a retailer. This page is intended as a reference only. You can follow the links above to the web sites of the manufacturers and in most cases order directly from them.
Steve
Firstly I like your website
Question _ The DZ Miniatures that are now supposedly being put out Strategem and I would love to get hold of mammoths, woolly rhinos, sabre tooth etc. - I could not locate a Strategem web site so I got onto the Wargames illstraed website, where they have a DZ Miniatures category listed, but when I click on it nothing happens, so I sent them an e-mail and it was rejected as undeliverable. - Any tips as to how and or where I can buy some of these critters.
I have also posted under your 10mm and 15mm sections, a couple of additions you may like to list.
Regards
Pete
Hi Pete, thanks for your comments, they’re going to be very useful in keeping these lists up to date.
As for getting some DZ Miniatures from Stratagem/Wargames Illustrated, they have a reputation for being somewhat disorganised so I’m not very surprised about their web site shortcomings. I’ve been able to buy minis from their stand at UK shows - SELWG and Salute in my case - but that’s not much help for everyone.
Hi Steve,
I managed to place an order today for DZ Miniatures stuff from here:
http://www.wargamesillustrated.net/Shop.php?type=dz
so maybe they have finally got their act together enough to be worth adding the link. (Maybe I should wait until the figures turn up though…)
Indeed. As well as getting the web site sorted they had a few more on sale at salute today. They had all four rhinos and all three bears in metal (old stock from DZ or have they switched away from resin?) Plus, the sabre tooth (metal) and the Platybelodon (resin). I bought one each of the last two.
Great list and really useful. I came to it via the Cavewars group which I have just joined. The only omission I think I can see on a first quick look is that you have not included the Aurochs from Excalibur in Germany. You have to ditch the rider but the beast itself is impressive. I look forward to using your list in the very near future.
Regards, Andrew
