Very True Things
“He talks to himself sometimes because he’s the only one who understands what he’s saying.”

They lied. They said there would be a proper ending. They said they had a clever reason for everything that happened. Bollocks.

Bloody good though, wasn’t it?

Having not seen any - and I mean ANY - of either series before tonight, I flicked the telly over with about one minute to go to see them sitting in a car in the seventies. And then the little girl in the street came and turned them off. Or something.

    …you wha’?

Give me Doctor Who or the surprising delight that was Torchwood (expected it to be crap, it very much wasn’t) any day.

  2. Have to agree they lied about the ending and instead finished with one almost as satisfying as Quantum Leap’s “Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home …”. Really enjoyed the ride though. For a show that they won’t be making any more of they left themselves a huge opening if they change their mind.

  3. Yes - a poor ending, but a fantastic series overall. I’ve written a little review on my blog - let me know what you think :)

    Thanks,
