Very True Things
“He talks to himself sometimes because he’s the only one who understands what he’s saying.”

I couldn’t let my last post before going on honeymoon be about TV…

So it’s about nothing much at all instead.

Except to note that I’ll miss the last test. :-(

So, two weeks in Canada with dinosaurs, railways, sea planes and whales. What’s on TV back here whilst we’re away and is it worth recording? A trawl through the Radio Times web site gives me this:

  • The Shield
  • Without A Trace
  • CSI:Miami
  • The Dead Zone
  • Lost
  • House
  • Stargate:Atlantis
  • Medium (will this be any good?)
  • Spooks (start of a new series or just a two part special?)
  • Scrubs
  • Will & Grace
  • The Truth About Killer Dinosaurs
  • The Truth About Trinny and Susannah

I love the juxtaposition of the last two. ;-)

Okay, some of those things are more essential viewing than others, and some are Lettice things whilst some are Steve things. And it adds up to twenty hours = two VCRs + five hour tapes on long play, which is what we have.

But will we ever have time to watch it all when we get back?

Two days from now and the ceremony will be over, we’ll be welcoming our guests at the reception, having our photograph taken and getting ready to sit down to dinner.

Of course, you only need to see what my beloved has written to realise what sort of madness the next forty eight hours will be filled with.

This may be the last time I have Internet access for a while. Please try not to break the Internet whilst I’m away.

PS. We did briefly consider a honeymoon in New Orleans. Then we discovered that the weather was a bit risky at this time of year. The events there this week put our problems into perspective.
