… recruitment consultants. Clueless bunch aren’t they? This week I’ve had a fair few of the calling me up and offering me, well, all sorts of odd things.

The first seeemed to have a very suitable contract job but it all fell through when she discovered that I was a sole trader and not a limited company. I’ve done dozens of contracts for dozens of companies and this was the first time this had been an issue. Odd.

The second tried to interest me in a helpdesk supervisor position. How they got to that from my CV I have no idea.

And finally, the third has me going to Guildford on Tuesday for an interview for a project manager/web services coordinator position. I doubt I’ll get it but it should be fun to find out how close I get.
The interview is late morning, so pub lunch in Guildford and some shopping. And maybe Gleet will be around for a pint.

HLBS have reorganised their Dinosaur range, adding a Mammoth and Triffid but removing a whole bunch of the smaller dinosaurs. So I ordered a bunch of their dinos from North Star. Unfortunately they didn’t have any Velociraptors or Compies left but have everything else I wanted in stock. So that’s another £24.20.

Running total is now £162.29.

Bravidio are shite. Not been able to log into cPanel for a week now.

So I’m looking for another host. Need MySQL, PHP and Perl. Need to be able to run multiple sites (so a reseller account may be best). Prefer to be billed annually rather than monthly. Any suggestions?
