Tomorrow, I will get up at 4am, catch a bus across London at 5am, catch a train at 6am, change trains three times (in Oxford, Birmingham and Crewe), arrive in Chester at 10:30am, try to book into a hotel, catch a taxi to Wrexham, attend a wedding at 1:30pm, catch a taxi to the reception, and after that catch another taxi back to the hotel.
Then on Sunday I come back.
And you know what? I don’t even know the people getting married - the bride is a friend of Lettice whom I’ve met once for about thirty seconds.
Meanwhile, Howie and Mel are getting married just down the road from where I live, and most of my friends will be attending that wedding.
I’d like to wish all the best to both couples. They should have a great day as I’ll probably act as a lightning rod for any bad luck floating through the aether tomorrow.
